The Responsible Alpaca Standard (RAS) provides an opportunity for farmers to demonstrate their best practices to the public, and a means for brands and consumers to have the certainty that the alpaca fiber products they buy and sell are in line with their values. Control Union Certifications BV is accredited by SLAB for this scheme under registration nr. CP 004-01.

Sustainable Regenerated Cellulosics Content Standard (SRCCS) formerly recognized as Sustainable Viscose Chain of Custody Standard (SVCOC), was initially crafted by Control Union Certifications (CUC) in 2020, with collaborative backing from the renowned global brand C&A.

Control Union is recognized and approved by the Better Cotton Initiative (BCI) for Chain of Custody Monitoring and Assessment. Better Cotton exists to make global cotton production better for the people who produce it, better for the environment it grows in, and better for the sector’s future, by developing Better Cotton as a sustainable mainstream commodity.

flustix MICROPLASTIC-FREE is a consumer certification mark proving that microplastics are not included in the content of products such as cosmetics, detergents, and cleaning agents. Companies can submit their liquid products to an independent certification process, and through rigorous test analysis, receive verification that solid plastic particles are not used in the product’s formula. Through this, they can objectively prove that they are contributing to consumer health and environmental protection.

flustix LESS PLASTICS Product is a certification scheme for low-plastic products that either are or have to be packaged in plastic. Companies can set an example with a LESS PLASTICS product certification and the subsequent labeling of their products – not only for the benefit of the environment but also for the customer’s satisfaction, as the demand for plastic-reduced products is constantly growing.

flustix LESS Plastics Packaging is a consumer seal that certifies low-plastic packaging. It exclusively certifies the packaging of a product and has no requirements for the product itself. Particularly in industries where the complete elimination of plastic is not feasable, this seal provides proof of the responsible use of plastic.

flustix LESS PLASTICS Total Product is a consumer seal that certifies the reduction of unnecessary use of plastic in products. Companies from all industries can subject their products to the independent certification process. The product and packaging are both subject to the assessment. The two components are tested independently of each other and must meet the certification requirements in their respective segments in order to be successfully licensed.
